After missing frequent deadlines, senior officials of the Public Works Department (PWD) no longer wish to give exact dates for completion of infrastructure projects. While top level officials and engineers had earlier claimed that one carriageway of the already-delayed Ring Road bypass would open on August 15, which did not happen.
